Why

The People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port is set to be the largest climate civil disobedience in Australia’s history. Happening in Newcastle/Muloobinba 24th-27th of November, this event will see thousands of people from around the country take part in a 2-day, family-friendly blockade of the Newcastle coal port.

That's why Rising Tide organisers are coming to Wollongong for an info night and planning meeting on Monday the 16th October. So come along if you want to hear more about the blockade or learn find our more about how you can get involved in the Wollongong area!
