Why
Far right racists believe they are on the rise, encouraged by the re-election of Trump, high opinion poll results for Nigel Farage's Reform in the UK, the AfD in Germany, and elsewhere across Europe.
What unites them is their scapegoating of migrants and refugees for people's economic and social ills. In Australia, Aboriginal people are an additional target of their explicit racism — seen so graphically by the NSN's violent attack on Camp Sovereignty in Melbourne. Parts of the LNP Coalition have openly sided with the demands of the 31 August March for Australia protests, while Albanese said that 'good people' joined them.
A broad alliance of anti-racist groups for refugee rights, Aboriginal rights, a free Palestine, LGBTIQ rights are coming together to organise a mass protest on Sunday October 19 — the same day that March for Australia is again aiming to express their poison on the streets of cities across this country.
Join our protest to say "refugees and migrants are welcome"; "always was, always will be Aboriginal land"; "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" and no to March for Australia and their National Socialist Network cousins.
