Hundreds turned out to a snap rally at the Prime Minister’s electorate office in Marrickville on June 9, to protest Israel’s illegal boarding of the Madleen and its taking of 12 Gaza Flotilla activists hostage.

The activists on board the aid mission12 represent millions of people around the world who have been protesting the genocide for more than 600 days, standing up for Palestinian rights and demanding an end to Israel’s illegal siege and occupation of Gaza.

The Madleen sails under the British flag. Any attack or interference with the ship is a violation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and a breach of international humanitarian law.

What will Britain do now? It is complicit in Israel’s ongoing war crimes. What will other enablers of Israel say and do, including Australia? We know what the people want: sanctions against Israel now.
