Why

A few days ago, Woodside's climate-wrecking North West Shelf gas project received final approval from the Labor federal government, extending its potential operating life to 2070.

This happened just days after Prime Minister Albanese returned from a visit to Vanuatu where Pacific leaders made it clear Australia must drastically lower fossil fuel exports to show serious commitment to tackling climate chaos.

Our Pacific island neighbours are drowning due to rising sea levels caused by the climate crisis.

Greenlighting Australia's biggest gas project is just the latest climate betrayal from the federal Labor government - SHAME!

Join us for a snap action this Wednesday at 3pm to protest at the office of Foreign Minister Penny Wong: tell her Labor's lack of genuine climate action and betrayal of our Pacific island brothers and sisters is SHAMEFUL.

Meet at Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square) triangle opposite District Court (south-west corner).
