By Ben Courtice HOBART — "The Greens are going for government" and are "not some kind of ginger group" Australian Greens leader Bob Brown told a fundraising gathering here on October 14. A recent poll, commissioned by North Forest Products, showed the Greens had state-wide support of 16%, and up to 22% in the state's south. This compares with the Liberals and Labor which are running neck and neck, at just below 25% each. A massive one third of voters are undecided as to the party they will support in the state elections to be held in February, 1996.
