From the moment Minns lit up the Opera House in Israel’s flag as it started carpet bombing Gaza, his government has been complicit. Many activists, including union members and MUA officials, have been charged under draconian anti-protest laws standing up for Palestine. The Education Department is persecuting staff and students for simple expressions of solidarity with Palestine and many other public sector workers also face discipline for speaking out.
The NSW government is actively facilitating production of parts for F35 fighters - the jet Israel uses to drop bombs on Gaza. This is part of a bigger push to encourage the weapons industry in NSW with tax cuts and subsidies.
Public sector workers have recently launched a BDS campaign challenging major NSW government contracts with HP - a company deeply involved in support for the IOF.
Stand with workers and community activists fighting back. Join this demonstration when the NSW Parliament returns following a long winter recess. Break the NSW government’s support for genocide!
